Some say that Friday 13th is an unlucky day... will your day be as unlucky as Mercy's Mother's was on that fateful night of the 4th of December 1848? Join us at The Watering (Severn House) and meet local author, Emma Woodhouse, who will tell us of the murder that took place in the very room we will gather in.
Mercy is Woodhouse's historical novel built on a foundation of extensive archival research around the aforementioned real-life murder.
At this event we will be entertained by the author herself as she tells us about this gruesome but fascinating tale. She is more than happy to do a book signing at the end.
