Schools Banners are Blooming Marvellous

Check out the amazing banners our four local schools have produced - thank you to Bridgnorth Endowed School, Castlefields Primary, Highley Primary and St Leonards Primary for your outstanding artwork. You have once again surpassed our expectations! The schools were given two themes:

"Au bonheur de fleurs" (to the happiness of flowers)

"Demain ou deux mains" (tomorrow or two hands, peace!")

Three schools chose to paint beautiful flowers, whilst St Leonards went for the hands of peace. All four are incredible. The vision and creativity is astonishing.

Thank you to our Mayor, Rachel Connolly, who presented certificates to the young artists for their superb work, in the Town Hall on Tuesday 16th April, applauded by proud parents, teachers and members of the Association. We hope the pupils enjoyed creating the banners.

Thanks too, to Keith Ruston for his photographic skills.

The banners will be on display from June to October all around our twin town of Thiers along with around 150 other exhibits. The public and judges then vote for their favourite.

This year is the turn of Thiers to welcome Bridgnorth and Schrobenhausen, so some of us will be lucky enough to see the banners flying. We promise We will take photos!
