The Twinning Tombola stall finally took place today under the Town Hall, after the Christmas light switch-on event was cancelled in December. It was cold and damp but we smiled through. We are very grateful to all those who donated so many marvellous prizes and to those who braved the weather and bought tickets. It was good to see some of our members seeking us out. We also hope we may have encouraged a few people to consider joining the Association; in any event we definitely raised our profile in the Town. Special thanks must go to Yvette Tipper and her wonderful husband Paul Tipper for getting us set up and running. Thanks too to our amazing band of helpers - Nicky Cooper, Yvette Tipper, Linda Hill, Suzanne Huxley, Jo Lawrence, Ralph Dunham, Annie Hawker, Tony Green and Dianne Webb.
