Wonderful Wine Tasting Evening

We had a wonderful wine tasting evening last Thursday. We were treated to an excellent selection of white and red wines from both France and Germany, finishing with a surprisingly good sweet wine from the Mosel in Germany. The selection was varied and it was interesting to listen to people's differing views on their favourite wines.

Thank you to Mark and Deb, from Tanners, for such a warm welcome and excellent choice of wines.

It was great to see such a variety of people in attendance including new, old and non-members.

Our next event is a talk by Emma Woodhouse on her book Mercy on Thursday 4th December. It was great that she came along to the wine tasting with two friends to celebrate her partner Steve Morris' birthday. It was also lovely to meet Ros and her son John - we hope to see you at future events.
